Benefits
A highly reproducible sample volume is drawn through the detector tube each time. The detector tube discolors in the presence of the target gas with the resulting stain interpreted directly by the scale on the tube.

The pump shaft is calibrated with marks at 50 and 100 ml, guaranteeing a precise sample volume for all measurements using Uniphos detector tubes.

The flow indicator on the end of the pump handle is grayish-black while the pump is under vacuum and pulling a sample through a tube. Upon completion of the stroke cycle, the indicator pops, becoming white, signifying the end of the stroke cycle. Typical stroke cycle is 1-2 minutes.

The handy tip cutter on the front of the pump is used to break the tips of the detector tube before it is inserted into the rubber tube connector (inlet of the pump)
